Main missions
This position will be managing 1 restaurant to start with. After a few months, this position will be extended to managing a maximum of 2 restaurants in the nearby area (within 1 hour driving), adjustable according to the workload capacity.
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high-quality food and beverage standards, managing the restaurant staff, and achieving financial targets. This also includes assisting the accommodation department in demand and providing support to the Managing Director on various ad-hoc tasks as needed. The detailed job description includes but not limited to the followings:
Operations
- Oversee the overall functioning of the restaurant, including dining area, kitchen, and bar, to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to meet the established standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and achieve financial targets, including cost control measures and effective pricing strategies.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders with suppliers to maintain adequate supplies while minimizing wastage and spoilage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.
- Develop and implement promotional activities, special events, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation (concept development).
Management
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of restaurant staff, including recruitment and termination processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Implement effective performance management strategies, including providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for staff development and training.
- Develop and maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage, while optimizing labor costs and maintaining high service standards.
- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of the restaurant, including monitoring and reconciling orders with incoming payments to maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications and skills
- Gastro Patent certification is a prerequisite.
